The Founding Edition

The Founding Edition marked the very first release of The Dome, and the opening chapter of our debut collection, Interior Worlds.

Every piece created as part of the Founding Edition bears its own individual edition number, signifying its place in ONAARA's first chapter.

The Dome Description

The Dome is the first silhouette in Interior Worlds, ONAARA's debut collection.

Its form is drawn from 'Sisterhood' the painting by artist Sarah Muwanga that lines its interior. Rather than simply decorating the object, the artwork gives shape to it, informing the bag from the inside out.

Crafted from Silk Elba, a premium full-grain Spanish nappa leather, sourced from a LWG certified tannery and renowned for its exceptionally soft hand and natural character. The Dome is defined by a rounded, sculptural silhouette suspended from a single shoulder strap with solid brass hardware. Its soft structure allows it to retain its distinctive form in the hand while relaxing naturally against the body. Hand-painted edges complete the silhouette.

The interior is lined with 'Sisterhood', reproduced on 100% cotton twill to deepen the tactile experience of the artwork. The fabric is finished with a protective PFAS-free nano treatment for enhanced resistance to water and stains, and features a leather-bound magnetic closure and an internal slip pocket.

Each piece is cut and closed by hand, so measurements vary by a millimetre or two.

Crafted from full-grain leather, The Dome will develop a rich patina with time and wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight and abrasive surfaces. When not in use, store in its dust bag and lightly fill to help maintain its shape. The artwork cotton twill lining is finished with a PFAS-free nano treatment to help resist everyday water and stains. If needed, gently wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
What Arrives

Each Founding Edition Dome carries its individual edition number engraved into the leather. It arrives presented in a rigid ONAARA gift box, accompanied by a protective cotton dust bag, care guide and an artist introduction card exploring 'Sisterhood' by Sarah Muwanga. Founding Edition pieces also include a numbered provenance card, marking their place within the first edition of Interior Worlds.
Dispatch & Returns

Founding Edition orders placed before 1 September 2026 will dispatch from November 2026. All orders are shipped fully tracked and insured. We currently ship to the United Kingdom, European Union and United States, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. For all other destinations, please contact us before placing your order. Pieces may be returned within 30 days of receipt in their original, unused condition.
